Pacers oversize basketball room

I used wallpaper boarder for the center line on the wall, cutting between the painted rope to make it look like it was woven into the net.

Teen Girls Butterfly and Dragonfly Room

This girls room was painted from the inspiration of her bedspread
and pillows.

I cut a simple stencil out to do the boarder.  I marked the height with chalk using a level.

Painting clouds at the top of the wall made cutting in the blue simple.  I just feathered out the blue when I painted toward the top then put in the clouds using the same ceiling white I had painted the ceiling.

Boy's Basketball Bedroom

This was one of my first murals not done for family or close friends.
I meet the mother of this young boy at her tanning salon her  young teen  was dealing with cancer. This was a perfect room to take on as a gift to the family. It was so fun to see his face when he returned from a week at a Riley camp.

I don't normally add pictures of who I paint for but Jathan was special and l love how this picture really shows the scale of the room.  I purchased the Pacers boarder and then cut it to make it look like it was woven into the basket net.
Even this guys fingernails look real to me.
The hardest part of this wall was dealing with the paint.  If I had known then, what I know now, I would have sanded and used a primer.  I had problems with the light blue sponge paint job showing through and sometimes the paint bubbling and pealing.

Safari Room

This room was painted for a pre-teen girl.  She loved white tigers and she had a pet hedgehog she wanted painted somewhere in the room.  I put him on the door ledge.

Getting this tall boy to turn the corner was difficult but I love how it turned out.

The girls bed sat in front of this tree.  I always try to finish all the wall so if they choose to move furniture it won't matter.

This is a close up of the tiger and giraffe, I loved the yes.

And last but not least her hedge hog.
